My Code of Ethics - 1415 Words

Code of Ethics Personal or not, a code of ethics that is in accordance to the criterion of the Almighty God is among the most valuable asset for any individual or organization. In the case study chosen for this essay, the ethical issue involved is concerning business ethics in the area of integrity and uprightness. A firm is planning to expand their business in a country where transactions that seems to be bribery is a normal part of doing business. There are contractors establishing themselves as an agent for acquiring, or advancing the required licensing to operate in the state/country calling it payoffs. This practice is not clear whether it’s free from bribery although many firms have managed sign off legal documents saying it is†¦show more content†¦These matters are in the control of the Almighty God, and again as said on the previous paragraph, a different knowledge and understanding is required to clearly understand what is meant here. One quick example that may illumin ate regarding this topic lightly is, let’s say an individual would like to purchase a bicycle, searching of it at clothing department store may be considered a waste of time; similarly many look for true happiness that way. By definition the definition of happiness is â€Å"the state of being happy, an experience that makes you happy†, therefore an ethical or unethical individual may experience it. However, as stated above, true happiness is sustainable, clean and pure, which is tied to the knowledge of the Almighty God, free from desires, achieved only by the grace of God. Reflecting back to all the information, and knowledge we shared, and the many different theories we analyzed, there were none that neither modified nor alter any of my moral characteristics and principles. They are protected and kept the same as they were before, just like they are thought by the messenger of the Almighty peace be upon him. I did learn and receive plenty of different knowledge , and understanding of different philosophers including their theories.
